External Bursary
Fields of Study: Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Environment, Safety, Occupational Health, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Commerce (Marketing) and Legal Studies.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants from previously disadvantaged groups. Preference will be given to applicants from local villages and labour-sending areas of the mine. Proof of residence – not older than 3 months. 2024 Matriculants are encouraged to apply. Proof of registration or enrolment letter at a recognised tertiary institution. Attach a copy of the 2024 Academic record. Certified Copy of ID – not older than 3 months. Average pass rate of 60% and above. The bursary programme will cover 100% of tuition fees, including registration costs. Tuition fees will be paid per semester. Study material (books) for the academic year. Accommodation accredited by the institution. Accommodation costs will be covered up to a maximum of R50,000 per annum.

Engineering Aide (Electrical)
Location: Nokeng Fluorspar
Mine, situated in
the area of Rust De Winter, ± 80km north east of Pretoria

Position Summary: This position
reports to the Chargehand and/or Electrical Foreman. Support electricians in
carrying out electrical maintenance planning related tasks.
Duties: Ensure machine, equipment
and tool availability. Provide assistance to electrical artisans with activities
within the team. Apply recognised work and safety standards. Ensure good
housekeeping. Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification with 3 years’ relevant experience.
Candidates with extensive experience will also be considered.
