Wallmannsthal Fluorspar Mine
Wallmannsthal Fluorspar Mine, fully permitted with a mining right granted and water use license issued, will be SepFluor’s second mining development project after Nokeng Fluorspar Mine. It has a SAMREC-compliant resource estimate of 7.9Mt at 45.78% CaF2 in situ grade. A detailed PFS has been concluded.
- ~20km north-east of Pretoria alongside the N1 highway
- ~8km from the nearest railhead
- Mineralisation extends across the outcrop surface area ~300m x 85m with drilling to 180m still open ended
- Initial land purchases for pit area concluded
- ~290 hectares land required for:
- mining infrastructure
- concentrator
- tailings dam
- 20-year LOM at ~400ktpa ROM with low strip ratio
- Updated PFS completed at the end of 2018
- Conventional open pit mining method
- Processing: crush-mill-float circuit
- ~400ktpa ROM to 100ktpa acid grade / acidspar
